Studio Cocceto
Crafting interiors that capture the heart of the human spirit
Born out of a lifetime of creative work, Studio Cocceto emerged from the belief that intentionally designed spaces enrich our lives. Our interiors radiate in their warmth, energize in their fusion of vintage
and contemporary elements, and inspire in their collection of unique details.
With a distinct appreciation for that which is handcrafted and enduring, we compose spaces with a thoughtful consideration of a project’s environmental impact, as well as the overarching health of the built environment. Deeply considered architectural details, material and color palettes, and selections in the realms of furnishings, fixtures, art, and more coalesce to create worlds rooted in comfort yet distinguished in character.
Our collaborative approach ensures each home aligns with the dreams of those residing there, nurturing connection and nourishing body, mind, and spirit for years to come.
Liz Beres DiCosmo | Founder & Principal Designer
My love for art and story emerged early in my life. I grew up immersed in creative realms - dance, music, and the written word - and after high school, I moved to New York City to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at New York University. I was incredibly fortunate to dance professionally across Europe, Canada, and the states, teaching dance and yoga to children and adults all the while. Ten years into the hustle, I dove in another creative direction - interior design. As I studied at Parsons School of Design my love for the field unfolded, and my interest in the health and sustainability of the built environment took root. I worked at Ursino Interiors for three years, engaging with all aspects of the design process, before embarking on a new venture - the opening of my own design studio.
At the heart of Studio Cocceto lives a dream - to craft interiors that capture the heart of the human spirit. I believe in the transformative power of design and endeavor with each and every project to not only create a home you love but provide an experience that feels inspired and gratifying.
I am grateful to have landed in the charming town of Hopewell, New Jersey with my husband and two young sons. If not designing or spending time with loved ones, you can likely find me working in our burgeoning garden, exploring an antique shop, or dreaming of future travels, with a sweet treat in hand.

An Italian term for earthenware, or a fragment of broken pottery. We treasure elements distinct in story and form, elements that enrich our spaces and everyday lives with their beauty and craftsmanship.
Our Values
Conscious Collaboration
Collaboration is essential in our design process. Whether working with clients, contractors, trades, or vendors, we strive to consistently communicate with clarity and compassion. When challenges inevitably arise, we aspire to remain open and grounded, seeking connection with relevant parties to work towards solutions with integrity. We believe that meaningful collaboration can only emerge from the presence of respect and kindness, and that projects rooted in such care can lead to a smoother process.Layered Living
Honoring the visions of our clients and the spirits of the homes they inhabit, we collect vintage treasures and contemporary finds to craft richly layered spaces that feel fresh yet storied. Ever on the lookout for exceptional makers and shops, our love for the evocative merges with our appreciation of function to ensure the homes we design are inspired yet always comfortable.Wellness & Sustainability
We believe a home's value lies not only in its beauty but in its capacity to contribute to the health of its inhabitants and the surrounding environment. We work to combat the excessive waste inherent in our industry and protect our clients from avoidable health concerns. Considered selections, for example, ensure healthier indoor air quality, while vintage sourcing and prioritization of natural materials and craftsmanship encourage reuse over waste and longevity over trends. We are dedicated to creating quality interiors grounded in a mindfulness of the people, places, and resources they stem from.Giving Back
We believe that serving others, particularly those in need, is an essential part of living in community. As designers working in the business of home we are committed to supporting efforts that provide critical services for those in need of housing. Each time a client signs a full service contract we donate $500 to a local non-profit organization involved in housing assistance. Over time, we hope their collective worth can create a real impact in our communities.
Intentional, beautiful living
